Sore neck!

After adjusting the pillow, I found myself sleeping flat. The filler had moved to the sides and left my head flat on the bed. This happened again that night after adjusting the pillow again. The company gets a good rating due to refunds, yet I am still out return shipping. My Pillow still made money. Best pillow=Sleepy's "I Love My Pillow". The free little pillows are worthless too. Too small, had to purchase the cases and I hate having them. They remind me of My Pillow junk. Go anywhere = trash. I would not recommend even trying out these pillows.

My Pillow Trash

I admit to being gullible and believing in advertisements. I have always wanted a comfortable pillow, and I bought into the hype about the "my pillow". This has to be the worst pillow I have ever owned. When they first arrived, they had a terrible odor. It took several washings to get rid of the odor. After that, I followed all the directions, but these pillows bunch up and separate. I have the worst neck problems every morning, so I guess the expense is a lesson learned as I look for the new "best" pillow. I can't believe they are still in business.

Bought mine online from ebay. See now why she was selling them....I have had chronic neck pain for weeks.....now reverting to my old comfy pillows! MY PILLOW wont take them back, because I did not buy directly from them....BUT THEY STILL MADE THEM!!

Well, mine is a completely different review. I have tried so many different pillows as I have neck problems.

I found this pillow to be wonderful and have not woken up with a headache since I purchased it. In fact, I just ordered another because I love it so much.

As a former employee of my pillow I am surprised you got the smell out. I would never own one and I use to make them. Besides the smell I feel they are too expensive.

Customer Dis-Service

A pillow is largely a matter of preference so I will not share my personal opinion of this pillow. Suffice it to say that I returned my pillow after two weeks due to being disappointed by not realizing the advertised claims. That's when the issues began. I received "most" of my payment a few days ago: a full 48 days after I called My Pillow and began the return/refund process. They deducted their original shipping costs and I had to pay to ship the lumpy, overpriced pillow back to them. When I questioned them regarding how long my refund was taking to receive, they said their "policy allows for 30 days after they receive it in their inventory." Horrible policy. Why are customers forced to fund their business when making returns? I am an advocate of businesses whose product and service are good and a pain in the wallet for those who choose bad policy over customer service.

First...You DID share your "personal opinion" of the pillow when you made the comment that it was "lumpy" Second...You AGREED to the "policy" when you made the purchase so crying and complaining that you "did not realize the advertised claims"is no one fault but your own,You most likely never even read the terms or ignored them!

@PissedConsumer828323

You definitely sound like you work as an internet troll for My Pillow.

Your "first" is just nitpicking. They didn't go into a bunch of opinionated details of the product.

They used a single negative adjective.

As for your "second" item, you read the sentence wrong, probably on purpose though. The PILLOW did not realize the advertised claims, as in it didn't live up to the hype. The pillow didn't do what the company said it would do, didn't act the way they said it would act.

Why would the person not realize the advertised claims? What commercials have you watched where the company advertises any type of claim that would be considered negative?

The advertised claims are things like "this will give you your best night's sleep while being comfortable and healthful for your neck & head." The pillow didn't "realize" the claims. It's like realizing interest in banking or accounting.

I mean, what advertised claims, for this product, would the customer be realizing and think it's a bad thing?

Fell apart in washer

My pillow also fell apart in washer and it was only third wash and less than 1 year old .When I called customer warranty they actually told me I had to pack up the millions of foam that ruined my washer and send it back with the casing because they didn't believe me,and the address to ship it to was 5 lines long can you believe it.plus you have to pay to ship an already expensive piece of foam back .And they don't even care that people are losing expensive washing machine which are much more necessary than a *** memory foam pillow which I can make my self!!

Exploded in washer

My pillow says washable but when I went to wash it for the second time I opened my washer to find it filled to the top with memory foam in a gazzillion pieces! Now a 75 dollar pillow is costing me 900 because it clogged my washer even thou I thought I cleaned it out well not to mention the fact I had to throw away what was in the wash with that ------ pillow .really not worth the money even after the fist wash it was not as soft as when I had just received it .the pillow is like tinny pebbles on you're head

Thank you all. I was going to purchase two pillows and after readin all these reviews I will not be purchasing them .

I have learned the hard way to always look up customer reviews before ordering anything from tv. It has saved me at least ten times from not getting ripped off by these greedy rude companies.

While watching that (now, apparently) Lying non-christian *** (NO 'real' practicing MALE christian wears their necklace cross OUTSIDE their collared shirt- so tacky!) as I saw his sorry-assed "patented" "locking fill", the thought crossed my mind that they look cubic and how could they possibly be soft, even if they ARE foam? It seemed to me, it would be 'lumpy'.

on the closing screen, I clearly read 'TRY IT at home for $19.95 shipping and handling. THAT's when I checked the website. I saw this "my pillow complaints" site and looked here first. $150.00 for two pillows? not sleeping THAT badly, thank you, very much. my 'walmart specials' are fine for 1/10th of that ripoff price. Another bothersome detail to me was the video of the production floor showed that the higher levels of sheetrock weren't even base-coat painted white, you can clearly see the sheetrock joint tape. really? In the job I now hold, a startup company in hot Texas, we have a drop hung ceiling that is insulated to save money on a/c. Their ceiling looks to be better thsn 25' high. A HUGE waste of a/c- heating.

Sorry y'all had tried them on faith and got burned. hate to say it- 'caveat emptor'/buyer beware! I ALWAYS look at all possible options before I fork over my hard earned cash. Good luck finding a TRUE superior pillow.

Not the world's best pillow!

I have problems with allergies and osteoporosis in my neck. This pillow sounded perfect for my problems. I was wrong. This is a very uncomfortable pillow - over-priced and very over-hyped. It did not help me with any of my problems. When I contacted the company I was told to wash and dry (in a hot dryer) the pillow more frequently. I really gave this pillow a chance - did not give up til I was using the pillow for many months, and even after trying the MY Pillow suggestion it did not help. This pillow is not worth the money. You can get a better pillow for a better price.

Crumbling feeling

I bought my pillow at a store April 2013. The first night I felt I slept better, but that was it. I did not give up, have kept using it. Now you can feel the crumbling of all the little pieces that make up the pillow. It does not feel cool. I used in Michigan where I was living and am now in Florida. I followed the instructions to the letter and have washed and dried it only one time. Again, very disappointing and would never ever recommend it to anyone !! I do not have the receipt so am stuck with this pillow, but its going to find a new home, IN THE TRASH... Thanks for nothing.

Bad shipping

Ordered two pillows and was told shipping would be by fedex but it is really delivered by usps and if you do not receive your mail by home delivery then they don't deliver your products then will not refund your money to you. Really a bad policy to say it's one way and it is not. Will never recommend or purchase anything from these people ever again and I think that it is a total rip off that they can not refund your money when the product can not be delivered to you as was explained to you at the time of ordering

RE comment about fed-ex vs Post office.

My company sometimes would get an order with delivery request to a P.O. Box number. UPS and FED EX cannot deliver PACKAGES to a PO BOX number.

WE COULD ship to the POST OFFICE box number by going USPS delivery, but.... If the package doesn't fit in a smaller box size, in the past they've been lost.

WE usually call a customer and request an ADDRESS that USPS could deliver to. PO BOX's are unreliable for packages

Poor product, poor service

I bought the MyPillow at a Walgreens as a get well present to myself after surgery, hoping for really good nights' sleep to help me recover, so I was disappointed from the start to learn that it would take 2 weeks for me to start to see the results. After heating it in the dryer as instructed, I found the lumpy texture uncomfortable and too firm, and the pillow does not stay cool, as advertised. So every time I wake up, I have to flip it over and punch it up, just like any other pillow. The instruction flyer lists a number to call if you "don't absolutely love" the pillow after a month, but that number is to an outsourced call center--not helpful at all, So I went to the website and called their direct number, after being assured that the customer service team would be more than happy to help me. However, I was told to take the pillow back to Walgreen's. Since I didn't buy the pillow directly from them, they were not only not interested in making me happy with the product, they weren't even interested in why I didn't like it. My feeling is that this company isn't interested in either a quality product or customer satisfaction. They should stand behind their product no matter where you buy it.

I'm NOT mad at Walgreen's. When I first posted this I did not put Walgreen's in the title.

I guess the website administrator did, and I;d like them to change it back. My WHOLE complaint is against the people who make the MyPillow, because THEY won't stand behind their product because I bought it at Walgreen's.

@PissedConsumer716970

I don't have the original packaging or receipt, so I didn't even try to take it back to Walgreen's. My issue isn't with Walgreen's in any case--it's with the manufacturer of the pillow. While there ARE occasional nights when I prefer it to my other pillows, the point is that it not only doesn't perform as advertised, but the company that makes it doesn't stand behind the product--won't exchange it or refund your money unless you bought it directly from them, and couldn't care less about why you don't like it.

My Pillow

I also have found this pillow to be very uncomfortable. Tried if for 6 months thinking I needed to adjust to the feel, but unfortunately it didn't happen. When I tried to return them (2 king size) they said it was only a 60 day return policy. I thought there was a 100% satisfaction on their website, so I didn't think I would have a problem. However, no refund and now I'm stuck with 2 pillows that I don't use for $100 plus for each pillow. Don't waste your money, they are not worth the expense. They get lumpy and even after washing them it's still lumpy, so you feel like you are laying on a lumpy, bunched up material inside a pillowcase. I'm very disappointed to say the least especially with the customer service. You would think if they are that sure of their product they would want to make sure the customer is happy!!!

We have enjoyed our pillows. We sleep better and our necks do not hurt.

They are great for us. My only problem is that "my own pillowcases, that came with my sheets do not fit...they make the pillow tooooo firm.

I am opening up "my own pillowcases" and adding a section to let the pillow go to its natural shape and we are fine again. It is alittle work doing this but we love the pillows.

Dont buy these pillows! The first night sleeping on them was awful!

I woke up the opposite of what they say - my neck was killing me. But to top it off I was billed $284.00 for these pillows which they said if you buy one you get one for free. Right! Sending it back tomorrow but will not trust them to get in touch with my credit card co.

so I called the credit co. and I will not be billed for these pillows.

I have learned not to believe everything I see.

They do clearly state that their return policy is for 60 days. This is more than enough time to see if a pillow will work for you. Sounds like this customer didn't bother to pay attention.

LUMPY MY PILLOW

Had this pillow for six months and found it to be nothing special - should have returned it but just let it go. Well the pillow got lumpy all of a sudden so I checked the FAQ on their web site and they recommend washing and drying if it becomes lumpy. Well I did and it is still lumpy. Their customer service is awful. I called and explained my problem and he said "what do you want me to do'? Bottom line is I have to return it at my expense - they will examine it and if it is a manufacturing defect, they will replace it. What BS - how could it be anything other than a manufacturing defect???? The customer service guy didn't have an answer to that. If I return it and they determine it is not a manufacturing defect, they return my lumpy pillow as is. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE
