MyPillow - King Size is NOT King Size

I ordered a Premium King Size My Pillow. I have many king size pillows and I knew immediately that the MyPillow KING SIZE was not the standard king size pillow. I tried the pillow for about a week and woke up with bad headaches each night. I then checked the size of the pillow. It measured 15" X 28-29". I then read the advertising brochure that came with the pillow, and it said that the pillow should be 20" X 34". I phoned MyPillow and told them that I thought I had been sent the wrong pillow size. They said that their king size pillows are off slightly from a regular king size pillow. I said that measurement was not slightly. It was a very significant difference. She told me to read the label on the pillow. It read that the pillow should be 18.5" X 34". Again, my pillow was still 5 to 6 inches shorter in length and 5" shorter in width than their advertised king size pillow. The customer service rep offered to send a new pillow, but assured me that it would be the same size as the pillow I had. I said I was not interested in that since I didn't want the same size, and I was having headaches after using the pillow for a week. I asked if I could return the pillow without shipping costs since it was an advertising error on their part. I was told that I had to pay for shipping. I did not find the customer service rep pleasant to talk to at all. Very defensive in fact. I wish I had read these negative reviews before I purchased the pillow.

Worst pillow for the outrageous price

mypillow is the worst pillow I could have tried. My neck and back are in worse shape and I have more pain than I did before I bought this scam of a pillow. Do not bother to buy this over priced piece of garbage. It was a total waste of money. They still make a profit due to the shipping and handling they charge to send it and return it. I will never recommend this pillow to anyone. If anything, I will do my best to talk them out of giving this company any money at all. Sorry I ever believed their testimonials.

This pillow was a joke from the word go!!!

It goes flat the second you put your head on it. It feels just like any other cheap pillow and it is over priced. I felt like I had been made a fool of. A real sucker! I will never purchase anything like this again. These people are advertising falsely and causing people to order this *** and it is not at all what they say it is. My aunt was so angry she wanted to sue them it took a while but she was refunded i full. I cant understand how people can sleep at night after they have ripped other people off all day and night.

On June 29th I placed an order with My Pillow using the Promo(Hannity) order buy one-get one free,and was charged shipping. Only one pillow came in the order, so I re-ordered second pillow, and was charged shipping. I sent the second pillow back after sleeping on the first one for a week, it was very lumpy,and was charged shipping. The customer service was not helpful and said these are the shipping charges even for customer dissatisfaction. This company is not one that I would ever recommend to anyone in need of bedding. There is such misrepresentation of this product to the public and their service is poor.

Worst pillow ever

After 3 different densities, I finally gave up as I was getting neck pains I never had before. When I asked for a refund, I was told the 60 day satisfaction guarantee had expired and the rep was very rude about it. It seems like a racket as the replacements take 2-3 weeks to exchange, not to mention the shipping costs back to them. I took the pillow apart and found shredded foam. This pillow is a scam. We spent over $100 for pillows for my wife and I. Don't get suckered in like I did. I will only buy from a retail store so I can try out before buying.

My Pillow

I can't believe I paid fifty dollars for the My Pillow. I wouldn't pay five dollars for it. It goes flat as soon as you put your head on it and it's not comfortable. I could have spent ten dollars on a pillow from Walmart and it would have been better this one. The advertisement says it can be fluffed, what a joke. I fluff it up, put my head on it and it feels like I'm sleeping on a ten year old pillow that's flat as a pancake. If you plan on paying fifty dollars for a pillow, make sure you buy a different pillow.

I have the same exact problem. Fluff it up and in a very short time its flat.

I have never even had one night where the pillow stayed firm.

And yes, did all of the *** they said to do to keep it performing the way they advertise. Whenever I hear someone talking about buying one of these I tell them not to waste their money.

If you paid $50 for a pillow you're dumb as a box of rocks and deserve to be cheated. Go to Wal Mart or K-Mart and spend $10 for a pillow that's going to last you a year, or so, and then you can get another new pillow for another $10.

Do the math. Is this "spectacular" My Pillow going to last 5 years? No pillow will.

It's people like you that give new meaning to the phrase, "There's a sucker born every minute". This whole country is getting dumber by the day.

Thanks to all of you for your input at this complaint site for MY PILLOW. I was going to look at and buy the 2 for 1 deal but after reading all of your negative comments I was convinced that we didn't need to try this very bad product. Thanks again for helping me avoid a disaster.

False advertisement...buy one get one free.

The ad on TV states that you buy one and get one free for 99.95. On line they sell fpr 49.99 a piece. Where is the deal here? This seems to be a problem with a lot of people. Had we checked on line...we NEVER would have purchased this and we will be returning our pillows to the mall where we got them. Also, I found they are no cooler then my previous pillows. I am happy others have found out about this fraudulent company. How is this company allowed to have a commercial on TV, I would like to know.

This is such a great site, and again to all that took the time as myself - Thank you for waving the caution flag. I surely think that there could NOT be so many people having the same sorts of complaint comment reviews be wrong. All with same problems from a clearly inferior product where someone got the idea of how to sell bio-un-degradable trash and get away with it with such ridiculous and contemptible excuses not to refund anyone's hard earned money. AND not to forget those poor people that have medical problems seeking some relief I say the consumer protection agencies should sanction them for their practices.

Disappointed from the moment I receive it in the mail. In the ads on TV pillows are shipped in boxes, mine was shipped all rolled up and I had to use a dryer for 30 minutes to fluff them. They bunch up when I'm sleeping and I have to shake them to get them back in shape 3 times per night or more. They do not see any cooler than any of the previous pillows I have owned. I definitely feel that I wasted my money and will be purchasing new pillows in the short time. I am sorry that I wasted over $100.

They get your money and don't care if your happy or not!!!!!

I exchanged 1 pillow and it cost me $12.58 to return it and the one they sent in it's place was not any better and they wanted me to pay to send it back too witch i refused to do i told them if i payed that again i could have bought another pillow for what it was costing me to return them so the guy i was talking to said have a nice day. So if your not happy with the product you keep it or keep paying to send something back your not happy with. Will never get a good word from me about this company sorry i have to feel this way it didn't have to end up at this point.

My dad bought two mypillows and gave me one. First thing I noticed is that it is lumpy, apparently made of cut up pieces of foam. Have only used it for a short time and does seem to have good loft. I think I kind of like it...jury is still out though..

sue the company or complain to abc news to have them investigated. Their claim to help people with sleeping problems is fraudulant.

they should be referred to ABC or NBC consumer complaints and let them know that the ads they are running is completely false. Mypillows need to stop advertising this product !
